On May 8, 2020, Xcelerate Solutions lost a heroic and beloved employee, Tai Hilliard, at the young age of 23. Tai was a passionate proponent of national security who dedicated her time on earth to helping to make America safer, most recently as a member of our Personnel Security Management Office for Industry (PSMO-I) team. She tragically lost her life as a result of domestic violence.
Her family and co-workers remember Tai as a kind, compassionate, and caring person who exemplified Xcelerate’s values. She supported Xcelerate and our clients by consistently going above and beyond her assigned duties. These characteristics made Tai an imperative part of the Xcelerate team. Although she did not wear a military uniform, in the end, she died selflessly sacrificing her life to save the life of another. For these reasons, Xcelerate dedicated a conference room at headquarters in Tai’s honor during October, National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Xcelerate has also made a donation to House of Ruth, a women’s domestic violence non-profit group, where contributions support the fight to end violence against women and their children.
We celebrate Tai’s life and aspire to follow her exemplary service to her family, friends, and country.
